Remove the HTTP Referer header from any outbound link. Paste your URL and get an anonymous redirect link instantly.
A referrer removal tool strips the HTTP Referer header from any link before the request reaches the destination server. When someone clicks a standard link, their browser automatically sends the URL they came from. This tool intercepts that and redirects through our server with the Referer header completely removed.
Paste any URL into the tool above. The generated link wraps your URL in an anonymous redirect. When clicked, our server processes the request and forwards it to the destination without any Referer header — the destination site sees only direct traffic with no source URL.
Referrer removal is essential for protecting private URLs, hiding your traffic sources from competitors, preventing affiliate network tracking of your campaigns, and protecting your users from being profiled based on where they came from.
When you click a link, your browser usually tells the next site the address of the page you came from. That header, spelled "Referer" in the HTTP standard because of an old typo, is how analytics tools know where traffic comes from. It is also a privacy leak: a full URL can contain search terms, account or order numbers, internal hostnames, or access tokens that were never meant to leave your site.
Most modern browsers default to a policy called strict-origin-when-cross-origin. It sends only the domain, such as https://example.com/, to other sites instead of the full path. That removes the worst leaks, but it still tells the destination which site you came from, and older browsers, apps and in-app webviews may still send the whole address.
Open the My Referrer checker through a link made here to confirm nothing is passed on. Keep in mind that the destination still sees your IP address. Hiding the referrer protects where you came from, not who you are.
