Privacy Policy

Overview

Anonymiz provides free, browser-based privacy and web utility tools. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including information about cookies and advertising.

Information We Collect

• No accounts required. You can use every tool on this site without creating an account or providing an email address.
• Analytics. We record aggregate, anonymous pageview counts to understand which tools are used. We also use Google Analytics for overall traffic statistics. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors, and we never sell this data.
• Server logs. Our web servers do not keep access logs for anonymiz.com, so we do not record the IP addresses of visitors or the pages and links they request. We keep minimal error logs only to fix technical faults.
• Tool-specific processing. Some tools (such as our DNS and WebRTC leak tests) process data like your IP address solely to perform the check you requested. That data is not stored beyond what's needed to show you the result.

Cookies and Advertising

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising partners. These partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites, in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may interest you.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).

We do not currently use cookies or trackers of our own for general site browsing outside of what advertising and analytics providers may set.

Third-Party Services

Some pages link to third-party services — for example, recommended VPN providers, or the security scan results shown next to certain proxy links, which are checked against services like Google Safe Browsing and VirusTotal. These checks run on our servers, not your browser, and do not send your personal data to those services — only the domain being checked. Any third-party service we link to operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

Data Retention

We keep only what's needed for the purposes described above. Error logs are kept only as long as needed to fix technical problems. Aggregate analytics data may be retained longer since it contains no personal information.

Your Choices

• You can opt out of personalized advertising using the links above.
• You can block cookies entirely through your browser settings; this may affect how ads are displayed but will not affect your ability to use our free tools.
• Since we don't require accounts, there's no personal profile to request or delete — we simply don't hold one.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or changes in applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
