Disposable Email Checker

A disposable email address (also called throwaway, temporary or burner email) is a temporary inbox that forwards to nowhere or self-destructs after a set time. Services like Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail and 10 Minute Mail provide these for free.

We maintain a database of over 4,000 known disposable email domains. When you enter an email address, we extract the domain and check it against our database. If the domain matches a known throwaway provider, the email is flagged as disposable.

Our database covers the most common disposable email providers. However, new disposable domains are created constantly. We update our list regularly but cannot guarantee every throwaway domain is detected. For production use, combine domain checking with email verification APIs.

Block the submission, ask for a corporate or personal email, or require email verification before granting access. For existing users with disposable emails, consider requiring re-verification or restricting account features.

Subaddresses like user+spam@gmail.com use real domains and are not disposable — Gmail and other providers support this as a legitimate feature. Our checker does not flag these as disposable.
