Last checked: June 12, 2026. We tested every Movierulz mirror domain currently circulating across forums and proxy-list sites. Of the domains we found, 5 were live, loading the correct site, and passed our SSL and speed checks — the rest had either expired, redirected elsewhere, or failed to load.
Methodology
Each mirror was tested for:
- Reachability — resolves and responds within 10 seconds
- Content match — actually serves the Movierulz site, not a parked domain or unrelated redirect
- SSL validity — valid certificate on direct connection (1 of the 5 working mirrors we found was serving over plain HTTP with no valid SSL — a real privacy and security risk, since anything you type or click there travels unencrypted)
- Response time — page load speed, since slow, ad-heavy mirrors are usually a sign of low-quality hosting
Why We Don't Publish a Fixed List Here
Movierulz mirrors have one of the shortest lifespans of any proxy category we track — many domains get taken down or abandoned within weeks of going live. A list published today is a reasonable snapshot of June 12, 2026, but treat any "top mirrors" article (including this one) as a starting point, not a guarantee.
Check Live Status Instead
For current, auto-checked mirror status — including live response time, SSL validity, and up/down status refreshed on every page load — use the Anonymiz Movierulz Proxies tool. It runs the same checks described above automatically, so you're never relying on a stale article.
A Note on SSL and Mirror Safety
Streaming/torrent mirror sites are common targets for malvertising and fake "download" buttons that install unwanted software. Regardless of which mirror you use: avoid clicking any button that isn't clearly the actual play/stream control, and consider routing your connection through a reputable VPN — mirror domains rarely have the security hardening of the original site.

Is Movierulz Legal to Use?
Movierulz hosts pirated copies of copyrighted films and TV shows without licensing from rights holders. Streaming or downloading from it is illegal in most countries, and several jurisdictions (including India, where Movierulz originated) actively pursue both operators and, in some cases, users of piracy sites. Beyond legal risk, mirror sites for defunct or blocked piracy domains are a common vector for malware, since operators have little incentive to maintain security once the original brand reputation no longer applies.
Why Movierulz Mirrors Are Especially Risky
- No accountability — mirror operators are often unrelated third parties capitalizing on search traffic for the original brand name, with no obligation to keep the site safe.
- Ad-based monetization — most mirrors rely on aggressive, often malicious ad networks (fake "download" buttons, redirect chains, browser notification spam) since legitimate advertisers avoid piracy sites.
- Short lifespan — as our live tracker shows, most mirror domains survive weeks to months before takedown, making any published "list" unreliable within a short window.
Legal Alternatives
For actual movie and TV streaming, licensed services (regional pricing varies) provide the same content without legal or security risk: major subscription streaming platforms, ad-supported free streaming services (which are growing rapidly and legally licensed), and library/rental options through official digital storefronts. These carry none of the malware or legal exposure that mirror sites do.
Protecting Yourself If You Choose to Use Any Mirror Site
- Never enter payment information — legitimate content sites do not require payment for streaming access on a "free" mirror
- Use an ad blocker to reduce exposure to malicious ad networks
- Keep antivirus software active and updated
- Consider a VPN to reduce exposure of your IP and browsing activity to your ISP
